Majun in Okinawa dialect means be together.\nRinko Kawauchi, born in Shiga, Japan, in 1972. Lives and works in Tokyo. Graduated from Seian University of Art and Design in 1993 and started working as a photographer on freelance basis from 1997. In 2001 she simultaneously released a series of three photographic books – UTATANE, HANABI, HANAKO from Little More, which created an overnight sensation in the photography world in Japan. In 2002, she was awarded prestigious 27th Annual Kimura Ihei Award for two of the books, UTATANE and HANABI.
