Photographed primarily in the higher elevations of Switzerland by Samuel Hoppe, the sweeping, panoramic images in this limited edition publication capture the spirit of the mountains. Whether he chooses colour or black and white, what attracts him is the ferocity that unquestioningly defines a mountain as both a slow triumph and a paradoxical force.
