Every year since June 6, 1944, what is undoubtedly one of the most important events in modern history has been commemorated, which meant a change in the configuration of Europe. Between 2003 and 2005, Eduardo Nave made two photographic series on the Landing beaches, and a last one in 2019, in the same year of the 75th anniversary. All of them make up this beautiful book, in which the author investigates what remains today on the ground of that key moment in history.

Eduardo Nave is one of the most established photographers of his generation. Founder, along with thirteen other artists, of the contemporary photography collective NOPHOTO, in 2014 he launched the publication Dúo together with four other publishers, and in 2016 he created and coordinated the project El Diari Indultat. Since 2001, he has been a regular contributor to national and international media, and has received important awards and scholarships for his work, such as the Fujifilm Euro PressPhotoAwards, the third prize at the 11th edition of the ENAIRE Foundation Photography Award and the award for the best book of the year in PHotoESPAÑA 2018. He has held countless individual and group exhibitions, and his work is present in many public and private collections.
