INLAND is a journey inside the earth. An underground sojourn to find an abyssal treasure. A practice of sinking into nature and consciousness itself. Benjamín Cano ventures into the forest, combs the countryside, cuts through the snow, and traverses the skin of a tree trunk until he reaches its dark beauty buried beneath the surface. In his dialogue between photography and drawing, the artist gives us a glimpse into a microscopic reality where a splash of color forms a complete universe: contoured representations of desire.
