Dali: Dedicatorias a Sabater

Dalí, Salvador
Binding: Hardback
Language: English/Spanish/French
Measurements: 0.00 x 0.00 cm

This book puts the reader in the middle of the chance meeting of Enrique Sabater and Salvador Dali in the summer of 1968. The result of this encounter was a 17-year “Surrealist holiday” with Dali and his wife Gala. Sabater became both confidant and protector and the text reveals this closeness to the artist through Dali’s illness. The friction between Sabater and Gala led to a parting of company and only now has the silence been broken and the story told. Sabater has painted a very human picture of this mythical figure, one of the sacred masters of 20th century art.
