Celestial visitations II

Celestial Visitations II is, despite its title, the first book by the young artist Nil Fernández. In a clear allusion to the new age artist Gilbert Williams, who published Celestial Visitations in 1979, this artist’s book aims to pick up the baton and continue exploring light and the sky from a spiritual, metaphysical and aesthetic perspective, while continuing to be primarily an introspective exercise. The 23 large-format illustrations included in the book are divided into three: the luminous bodies of the morning, or kind beings. Then, later in the afternoon, the beings of destruction. And finally, at night, the untouchable beings.
