Los Carpinteros at the Faena Arts Center, Buenos Aires (Argentina)

The exhibition focused on central aspects of the artists’ oeuvre: the exploration of the relationship between art and society, the complex dynamics between the object and its function, art and the everyday, uselessness and practicality, and autonomy and social meaning. The exhibition included new large sculptural works and works on paper; it was on view at the Faena Arts Center from 15 May through 12 August, 2012.
