Los Carpinteros at Peter Kilchmann

The collective Los Carpinteros is made up of Cuban artists Marco Antonio Castillo Valdés and Dagoberto Rodríguez Sánchez, who live and work in Havana and Madrid. A large single exhibition of Los Carpinteros will take place at the Peter Kilchmann gallery in the summer of 2013. The presentation of the large-format works on paper, such as M.A.E.S. Bulgaria – Lego, 2012 coincides with the artistsʼ participation in Art and the City. As part of the citywide exhibition on public space, Los Carpinteros will be showing large brick tower sculptures on the nearby Escher-Wyss-Platz. The single exhibition Silence your eyes was on view at the Kunstmuseum Thun, Switzerland, until July and will travel on to Kunstverein Hannover, Germany in December 2012.
