Launch of C Photo: New Latin Look

The fourth volume of C Photo: New Latin Look, was presented at Ivorypress on Monday 18 June 2012 with the participation of Martin Parr, guest editor for this volume, Horacio Fernández, art historian and curator, and Iñaki Domingo, Ivorypress publications coordinator and co-editor of C Photo.

C Photo New Latin Look presents an original selection of young Latin American photographers. Through their innovative and contemporary approach to the photographic medium, the photographers included in this edition become the protagonists of a rebirth in Latin American photography. The strength and depth of their work makes it apparent that this sphere is one that has been neglected for too long.

The portfolios selected include: Andrés Marroquín Winkelmann, Rosario Montero, Guadalupe Ruiz, Fernando Brito, Geovanny Verdezoto, Irina Werning, Alejandro Chaskielberg, Ana Casas Broda, Alexander Apóstol, Óscar Fernández, Miguel Calderón, José Castrellón, Luis Molina-Pantin and Julio Bittencourt.
