Tom Carr has always liked working in three dimensions. Known to be a sculptor, he became interested early on in creating works in public places or doing particular shows that remain closely related to the architectural space in which they are exhibited. This is the case of Orbis, in which the artist projects 500 images onto the ground. The show documented in this book was conceived as a light and colour spectacle, and according to its creator, “constitutes an allegory of the cyclical concept of time”. It also features a wide-ranging series of drawings and a selection of his most representative sculptures.
