Miroirs «Photographical Reconstruction»

Good condition. Photography provides here an artistic and documentary view of three of Le Nôtre’s parks – Verssailles, Sceaux and Saint-Cloud – as seen through the eyes of Eugène Atget and Daniel Quesney. Daniel Quesney rephotographed shots taken y Atget at the beginning of the twentieth century from exactly the same vantage point. This rephotographing raises a multiplicity of questions. In a period extending over three hundered years, the landscape architect and the photographers joined together to share a unique encounter with the spirit of place.
