Mexican Love Story
Holly Stevenson (1978) is one of New York City young and upcoming illustrators, her work blend pure simple drawings with highly refined and subtle taste. She is inspired from the little things in her everyday life like old photographs and books, and for \nMexican Love Story she wanted to share with the viewers her fascination for Mexican culture and their festive approach to death as well as to life.\n\nHer illustrations have been included in American Illustration annuals 21 & 22 and her artworks & designs have been published on a variety of renowned publications such as Dazed and Confused, Nylon and Nylon Japan, Rojo, Arkitip, Oyster, Vice, Teen Vogue and Bust.\n\nMexican Love Story has been published by Nieves Books in conjunction with Holly Stevenson’s exhibition «Haunted Hallway» at Riviera Gallery in Brooklyn.
