Berry has continued visiting and working in each of the different communities throughout the political and social conflict created by apartheid.his book also contains three essays which provide a chronology of his timepent in the country.;He has been the recipient of many awards, among themhe Arts Council’s first major photographic bursary in 1974 and Nikon’shotographer of the Year Award in 1977. He has had a number of one-manxhibitions and taken part in a broad range of shows.
