Frank Dituri. To Whisper

Frank Dituri is the son of Italian immigrants and lives between New York and Italy.\nHis passion for travelling is reflected in his work.\nDituri likes to transform the things of our daily lives, things we are familiar with, obvious things, and give them a surreal twist.\nHis photographs are on show in the US, Asia, Europe and, of course, Italy, where he is exhibited at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. He has published several books and catalogues, and his images have been picked up by such newspapers as the NY Times, the Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, Zoom and Leica Magazine. His work is also included in both private and public art collections.\nFor more than 30 year Dituri has also been busy teaching, holding seminars all over the world. He is currently a professor of art at the University of Long Island and participates in the LTA/Guggenheim Museum Program as artist/teacher.
