El artista y la fotografía
Let us imagine that great Spanish artistic geniuses such as Picasso, Miró, Dalí and Tàpies dappled in photographic experiences during their celebrated pictorial creation. What would these photographs be like? This book gives us an answer. In reality it is a fictional work by Joan Fontcuberta, who after having parodied different scientific disciplines (botany, zoology, astronomy, etc.) has reinvented the history of art itself. Beyond the dimension of plastics and of conceptual irony, the project involves questions of style and authenticity, or, in other words, authorship and authority.
