The Musée Magnelli, the Ceramics Museum, presents an exhibition where the greatest freedom was given to the 25 creators who chose and illustrated 17 stories, pretexts for expressing their creativity and the quality of their skill (ceramic, engraving, painting, mixed media). Their texts either to traditional tales like Tom Thumb, Cinderella, Donkey Skin, Little Red Riding Hood… or to myths and legends from all over the world: ancient Greece, Guatemala, Japan… or excerpts from Denis Diderot, Alessandro Manzoni, Ray Bradbury, T.S. Eliot or Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Then others artists made up their own contemporary story inspired by the present day, like that of the Supernatural Bird.\nSo let your footsteps lead you along Tom Thumb’s path, come with us into the world of wonderment, for a while bringing back childhood days in a world where nothing is impossible…\n\n\nVallauris, December 2010 – March, 2011
