The limits of what photography can represent and the untapped potential of these limitations are the intended focus in these two series of photographs. While in 360 degrees the real is turned into the imaginary in Numerology, the same numbers that constitute the universal language of mathematics and physics and that have been radioed into space – in the hope humans might one day communicate with extraterrestrial life – become arbitrary tools here on Earth used to predict our fates.\n\nIsidro Ramirez is a Spanish photographer now based in Singapore. After living, working and studying in the UK for 20 years he moved to Singapore in 2011. His work shows a delicate balance what is real and what is perceived, between the fabric of place and the texture of memory.
