Bazar

On 18 February Ivorypress hosted the opening of Bazar, Los Carpinteros second exhibition at Ivorypress. On this occasion, a series of small and medium-format works will be presented along with three videos that make up the core of the show, the first one of the Cuban duo to be based on audiovisual pieces.

Bazar reveals concerns about human nature—regarding physiology, ideology or consumerism—that are exposed from an anthropological perspective, highlighting organic and symbolic processes and the issues of temporality, aesthetics and social and cultural trivialisation that underlie them.
