Guided tours of the exhibition ‘Revelations. A History of the Photobook in Latin America’, by curator Horacio Fernández
On Wednesday 27 June at 18:00 h and Saturday 14 July 14 at 12:00 h art curator and historian Horacio Fernández provided guided tours of the exhibition Revelations. A History of the Photobook in Latin America. The exhibition, which was on display until 14 July, showed a selection of photobooks published from 1920 to the present day in 11 Latin American countries. Original copies of representative photobooks published in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and Venezuela. The exhibition, which opened on 5 June and is part of the Festival Off PhotoEspaña, opened at Le Bal (Paris) last January 2012, and after passing through Madrid, travelled to the Aperture Foundation (New York), and the Moreira Salles Institute (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo).
