The book was presented on 17 June 2025 at the Warburg Institute, featuring a conversation between author Edmund de Waal, publisher Elena Foster and Bill Sherman, Warburg Institute Director, to mark its publication.

Ivorypress’s latest release, ‘An Archive’ gathers over a decade of Edmund de Waal’s reflections on archives, arranged chronologically. The book travels from Odessa to Paris, weaving together personal encounters with family archives alongside writings on poets, artists and places that have shaped his thinking.
