‘Tummelplatz’ by William Kentridge showcased at Fundació Sorigué

South African artist William Kentridge has just opened a solo exhibition at Fundació Sorigué in Lleida, Spain. Ivorypress has collaborated by lending an edition of ‘Tummelplatz’, an artist’s book by Kentridge published by Ivorypress in 2017.

The book comprises two volumes, each of which contains ten stereoscopic photogravures by William Kentridge. ‘Tummelplatz’ arose from a desire to make a virtual reality pop-up book in the most analogue way; to play with three dimensions and the fundamental flat format of paper and books.

The ‘William Kentridge’ exhibition will open to the public at Fundació Sorigué tomorrow 22 October 2024.
