TALK: SELF PUBLISH AND NOW WHAT?

On the 23rd May Ivorypress and Photobook Club Madrid hosted the talk Self Publish and now what? The event was attended by Paco Gómez, photographer and editor at Fracaso Books; Diana Vilera, editor at La Cueva; Sara F. Miguélez from the distribution platform La Rueda; and Sonia Berger, editor and distributor at Dalpine.

This session aimed to show photographers who have self-published books the next steps in order to reach the right places. Although photographers tend to concentrate all efforts on having the book they’ve imagined in their hands, they face a very different challenge once this goal is achieved: to distribute it.

With the help of some of the best professionals in the area of distribution, the audience had the opportunity to ask and contribute their expertise in the field during this talk.
