Richard Long

Ivorypress interviewed several contemporary artists to create a major work for the entrance hall of the New York headquarters of the Hearst Corporation. Out of this process, Richard Long was selected for the commission. Using mud from the Hudson and Avon Rivers, he created an epic work, measuring 70 feet high by 40 feet wide. The work is called Riverlines.
