Cai Guo Qiang

Ivorypress requested proposals from artists for an installation on the Chairman’s and Executive Level at the Hearst Corporation’s new tower in Manhattan, New York. The result is a major work by Cai Guo-Qiang, Dreams Along the Stairway, spanning two floors, of gunpowder on paper, mounted on wood, measuring 35 feet wide by 22 feet high.
