Horizons



Horizons is a publication about travelling which is organised in different chapters related to this concept. It’s a mostly visual book that showcases works by a variety of artists and writers that reflect on travelling as a source of inspiration. Every chapter of the book is related to a particular theme such as loneliness, risk or endangered cultural diversity. Each chapter includes images by international artists as well as a texts. André Aciman, Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Aminatta Forna, Álvaro Mutis, Mario Vargas Llosa and Adam Zagajewski are the authors of the texts in this publication. The selected artists are: Aniu, Michael Ackerman, Olivo Barbieri, Jonas Bendiksen, Edward Burtynsky, Kyungwoo Chun, Gilbert Garcin, Andreas Gursky, Sun Hongbin, David Maisel, Trent Parke, Alex Prager, Thomas Struth, Flore-Aël Surun, Mitra Tabrizian and Kimiko Yoshida, among others.
