The North Woods

This is the slender sixteen page catalogue cum artist’s book issued in conjunction with British artist Richard Long’s 1977 exhibition documenting seven environmental projects entitled “The North Woods” held at London’s Whitechapel Art Gallery. A bright white, most handsome example (cited as the nineteenth entry in the comprehensive bibliography of artist’s books and monographs on page 221 of Clarrie Wallis’ “Richard Long: Heaven and Earth” published in 2009 by the Tate, Britain Museum)
