Son Boter. Joan Miró
Son Boter, a typical Mallorcan country house from the s. XVIII is the oldest building of the Miró Foundation in Palma. Joan Miró understood the house, his second studio in Mallorca, the Guggenheim prize he received for the creation of Mur du soleil and Mur de la lune for the UNESCO building in Paris.
Rif Spahni started this project in 2012. Photographs, some of the small details and objects through the photographer’s gaze, revealing instances of the past and for an instant, we seem to see Joan Miró again working in his studio.
In 2018 Rif returned to the studio to continue work through the traces and traces of paint on the floor of the studio
