Sí 1985-1992

This volume collects the images taken by Tono Arias from the beginning of his photographic career at the age of 17 to the end of the author’s journalistic stage in the early 1990s. During this time he collaborated with various media outlets, such as Faro de Ourense, the Galician Mail in Santiago de Compostela, and other national magazines.

Si, is a costumbrist look at Galicia at the end of the century; from the urban environment of the city of Ourense to the rural life of the province with photographs of the Aceredo town, flooded by the Lindoso reservoir. It also contains images of popular celebrations and religious traditions, such as “A Festa da Auga” in Vilagarcía de Arousa and “A Festa do Polvo” in O Carballiño.
