Profoundly Superficial
This book is a review of Chiprout´s career as a photographer and a cinematographer. It covers the period from 1989 to 2018, when technology transformed the medium of photography. The publication seeks that the reader gets immersed on it so it can experience the transition from analog to digital photography and cinematography, going through almost all formats of image making, from the large format, the Polaroid, the first digital cameras and the first smartphones. At the same time, it is an immersion in the author’s experience in Zen Buddhism as a juncture in his life that caused a change in his way of seeing the world that is reflected in the environments presented in this book.
