Printed Matter

Printed Matter is a book about Urs Lüthi, about who he is and what he has done from 1966 to the present day. The narrative takes shape through a representative selectionof the printed matter produced in conjunction with exhibitions, such as invitations, ?yers, brochures, posters and publications. These ephemerae testify to Lüthi’s mastery across diverse media and are closely allied with his artistic strategies. Almost always, Lüthi himself has been instrumental in their design, for they are part and parcel of his artistic persona. As such, the ephemera give us a different and highly illuminating slant on the artist’s oeuvre.
