Manual Macba

The Manual is proposed as a tool to bring the museum closer to visitors from different perspectives. It aims to provide keys to understand what MACBA is talking about, what defines it, and thus make it accessible to everyone. This publication includes a selection of outstanding works by 120 artists from the MACBA Collection, as well as a repertoire of 52 key concepts for understanding the stories that make up the museum. In this way, works and concepts transversally articulate the different lines of thought present in the museum. It is a collective project in which 51 authors have participated, 39 of whom are part of the museum’s staff and the rest are regular collaborators.
