Los Huesos del Agua
The Guatemalan photographer creates personal images that are constellations in a world, his own, which is accessed through beauty, surprise and the interpretation keys that he uses and creates.
With the work of composer John Cage, he captures the void and silence; with the myth of the Annunciation in Renaissance painting, desire and absence; the cloth of modesty that covers Christ in the canonical works gives way to abstract images that inquire about the disappearance of the sacred; he relates sunspots to the shapes of leaves gnawed by insects. It is a risky path that has led him to accept the fortuitous, what arises without intending it, and the underlying relationships between everything as part of the creation of images that remain in the memory after capturing the viewer’s fascination.
