La familia Lavapiés

This book analyzes the fleeting trajectory of La Familia Lavapiés, an artistic and political collective linked to the Maoist ideological space during the last stage of the Franco regime. La Familia Lavapiés had links with other organizations in the same militancy environment, among which the Popular Artists Union (constituted in December 1972 and grouping various professional groups in the field of cultural production), as well as’ in the strict plane of political militancy ‘the Revolutionary Patriotic and Antifascist Front and the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), both dissenting organizations of the official line supported by the Communist Party of Spain.
