This brand new offering from Bruce Weber’s Little Bear Press features pioneering male-figure photographer Jim French’s collection of 1972 nude studies of object of affection, model David Skrivanek. An interview of French by Weber serves as the introduction for the book, and in the same way as “Chop Suey Club” adoringly captures Peter Johnson’s moods and physique, so here does the camera linger throughout on the impressively chiseled (and endowed) Skrivanek. As with all of Little Bear’s books, the quality of the design, paper and printing is impeccable.
