Imogen Cunningham: Mothers Days
Published in a limited first edition print run of 3,000
In Mother’s Days: Imogen Cunningham, Little Bear Press presents an exquisitely produced book of rarely seen photographs by one of the most important Modernist photographers, Imogen Cunningham (1883-1976). In this group of pictures, mostly taken during the 1920s and 30s, Imogen explores profound moments between her children and other family members. John Stevenson’s enlightening essay on the life of Imogen and how these photographs came to be published adds a personal sentiment to this intimate body of work. Also included is an interview between publisher Bruce Weber, and Cunningham’s son (and noted photographer in his own right), Rondal Partridge.
