H.C. Westermann. Volver a casa.

This publication reflects on the work of the American artist Horace Clifford Westermann (1922-1981), who assembled a particular and characteristic sculpture, usually in wood with virtuoso cabinetmaker’s arts but also in other materials and techniques, such as metal, glass or enamel. Without recourse to a single style, he composed objects full of meaning and in many cases of irony, with which he captured the complex, contradictory and discontinuous experience of his time to construct fragments of reality.
