Forest of Ginjal was the most famous restaurant on Ginjals quay in Cacilhas. Since it opened in the 50s, it has become a meeting place for the north and south banks of the Tagus river, an inevitable choice for numerous lunches, parties and even weddings. Six decades later it closed its doors for good. It had fulfilled its purpose. The old venue was later reborn as a dance hall. Today it is a magical and mysterious place, filled with fascinating characters: lovers, dreamers, loners, seducers all sharing a time that only exists here. Real lives with simple desires, common ambitions. Finding a way to hide loneliness, to find love.
