The two great artists who marked with their works the sign of our time are Pablo Picasso and Marcel Duchamp. While Picasso is well known, Duchamp is one of the most notorious cases of artists that in many cases are spoken without knowing, at least minimally, his work. And entering his writings is a dive into his work and the possibility of establishing a fruitful itinerary between language and plastic representation. Duchamp’s writing is an essential part of his artistic work and a central dimension of his work. Hence the importance of the volume we present today which brings together for the first time all the writings of Duchamp in a single volume.
