El libro en abismo. RELACIONES Y TRANSFERENCIAS ENTRE IMAGEN Y DISPOSITIVO EN EL LIBRO DE ARTISTA

This investigation is an approach to the visual, structural and conceptual resources that allow to establish relationships between the image, its support and the space of its reception, in the field of the artist’s book. It is situated in a field of visual arts whose works take the form of a book as an edited object, printed with mechanical means and made with ordinary materials; and, thought for the diffusion of visual and textual ideas. The term “abyss” or “abyss” refers to a (visual) way of establishing the relationship between the object-book and its representation as an image.

The study supports an approach to the artist’s book as an expanded form of image-object. The field of research is found in the books that have content, object and subject to the book, and the research has consisted in giving a nature to this intuition about certain books artist books, theoretically justifying the approach.
