A form of resistance through style. That´s how post-war subcultures were interpreted for decades, imported into Spain simultaneously, and somewhat ahistorically, in the eighties. Mods, punks, rockers and goths rose the pulsations of a society otherwise benumbed in its own greyness.

Swan song or reinvention, this project collects photographs of members in the Digital Age (2009 – 2015). One hundred portraits of the latest additions, some anonymous and the occasional celebrity, to subcultures that, although belonging to another time, stubbornly refuse to disappear. The book will be published in 2020 and designed by Koln Studio.
