In a time when the limits between the private and the public get more and more blurred, the sixth volume of C Photo, Observed, collects the work of visual artists who investigate aspects of this new world where photographs are everywhere. These artists look into our sharing and snooping and peeking and watching, they sift through the vast visual archives now available freely online. How do we see photographs? What do photographs tell us? Where does the image end and the intrusions into one’s life begin? What has happened to the idea of privacy?
