Between 1933 and 1934 the visionary architect, designer, engineer and philosopher Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) built three models for his Dymaxion Car; an automobile that was considered the most efficient of its time due to its meticulous design, based on the laws of aerodynamics. This book relates the history of the first three models for the Dymaxion Car, as well as the production process of Dymaxion #4, a new prototype built true to the original. This new prototype was produced by the architect Norman Foster and launched on the street in 2010.
