Dancing with the jailer is the closing of a three-year period of a graphic research project on the codes of engraving, a visual work focused on the poetry of Vladimir Nabokov in his novel Invitation to a Beheading .

Each book contains seven original prints on 280 gr black Somerset Velvet paper. The text is transferred on Japanese Shin Inbe 30 gr paper. The intaglio plates -etching and acquatint- are created and printed by Shirin Salehi in Hedera printmaking studio -the studio of the artist-. The binding and the outer case is done by Carmen Alvarez Prieto. The edition is signed and numbered by the artist.
