ALCHIMIE MODERNE,EMANUELE COCCIA AND VIVIANE SASSEN

Modern Alchemy was born from the meeting between Viviane Sassen and Emanuele Coccia. These two major figures of photography and philosophy weave together a dialogue made up of words and images, rooted in the territory of Champagne, and anchored in the inspirations of art and nature of the Maison Perrier-Jouët.
In this work, a series of 80 photographs and an essay intersect and unite to offer a new wonder on the creative power of matter within the living. Photographs and words, the story of the Earth and the story of creation, spirit and matter, mingle, merge, overlap and produce an infinite art that can take a thousand forms, a modern alchemy that overwhelms the consider and the spirit.
