The LEF, avant-garde front founded in Petrograd in 1923, grouped writers, artists and critics among which are Vladimir Mayakovsky, Sergei Eisenstein, Sergey Treyakov, Aleksandr Ródchenko, Varvara Stepanova and Osip Brik. Between 1923 and 1928, they published the magazines LEF (1923-1925) and Novy LEF (1927-1928), spokesman organ of the “productivist” left of Russian Constructivism.

To the production! It gathers 16 articles in which the members of the LEF articulate the main guidelines of the productivist practice, in disciplines such as cinema, literature, photography, poetry and graphics.
