A House to Live
We have tried to make a facsimile so close to the original Tauts work as has been possible. For that reason we have kept the Font in tipe and size that had been employed by the editor in the Tauts text original edition; and also we have saved the layouts, for the pages and the illustrations; even trying to ensure accurately that the text included in every page matches with the text of the same page in the original edition; as well we have even kept the elements of design, like bars, lines employees in the original book; in which we have sought to maintain theirs size, position and even irregularity. Like the translator has included some notes, we have collected all together at the end of each chapter, without hardly alter the original composition; on the other hand, we have needed to keep in the planes the original lettering, with the terms in German; because replace the tags on some of the graphics and plants, would seem not possible; at least without a disproportionate job; thats why we add, at the end of the book, the drop-down list with all of the terms appearing in the planes and their translations, in order to allow read and study the contents of the book with comfort. This is the unique added that we have made, in addition to the introductory text, that I included in the book; for which has been used till another type of letter, paper, and numbering. Also has been respected the bibliography of the Tauts books as it appeared in the original work (p. 118), without adding no one posterior book (at the date of the first one edition); but whether we have included the scarce references to publications in English of those works; when they exist.
