Launch of “The Fragile Feast. Rutas a Ferran Adrià”

On Tuesday 24 January at 7:00 p.m. Ivorypress hosted the launch of the book The Fragile Feast in the presence of photographer Hannah Collins, chef Ferran Adrià and Elena Ochoa Foster. The Fragile Feast. Routes to Ferran Adrià documents the work of British photographer Hannah Collins, in which she traces down 35 dishes by the renowned Catalan chef, from their origins to their elaborate presentation. Together with the photos, each ingredient in the book is accompanied by a text describing the work of the hunters, farmers or gathers behind it, as well as maps pinpointing the origins of the products.

A selection of this group of works, which in total is composed of 250 photographs, was on display at Ivorypress Space II until 4 February 2012. Banco Sabadell sponsored the Spanish edition of the book and the exhibition, which was shown at the Banco Herrero art centre in Oviedo in 2011. Bodegas Gutiérrez de la Vega provided the wine for this event: Casta Diva Cosecha Miel, moscatel from Jávea and Recóndita Armonía sweet wine.
