Ivorypress Summer Screenings
Ivorypress Summer Screenings is a series of events that showcases rarely-seen documentaries on inspiring artists.
Join us over four summer evenings to celebrate this second edition of film screenings, which will delve into the life and work of key contemporary photographers, providing insight into the complexity and multiplicity of their female identities.
Opening with the visual poetry of La Mirada de Ouka Leele, the programme will bring together the work of four photographers from the same generation, each with a very distinct visual language and narrative. From Francesca Woodman’s exploration of sexuality and the body to Cindy Sherman’s perception of gender and identity, the series will close with Nan Goldin. I Remember Your Face, an intimate portrait on the artist’s life and career.
