Dionisio González in Sevilla (Spain)

The exhibition AROUND, by Dionisio González (Gijón, 1965) will be open to the public from Thursday 11 April to Sunday 16 June 2013 at the Casino de la Exposición, Seville. Although the show spans a twelve-year time-frame, it is not retrospective in character nor does it suggest an anthological revision. The leitmotif of this project is sustained by the profound reflection that the artist lays out about different ways of inhabiting contemporary cities; an investigation surrounding twenty-first century lifestyles that led him, during that time period, to study and travel through an infinity of places in countries all over the world, such as Cuba, Brazil, Vietnam, South Korea, the United States or Italy.
