Courtains and Holes

Through the 57 photographs in “Curtains and Holes” the Peruvian photographer Pablo Hare (Lima, 1972) takes a tour trough the periphery of the city of Lima. A look at the landscape which changes for three years with its readings of the literature about the violence that erupted in Peru almost four decades ago and that still dominates, in one way or another, the daily Peru. The premise that drives the book is about a landscape in which the spectrum of violence – and death – silently wanders.
